You are the first group to pilot the Momentum Map™. Thank you!
Try out the Momentum Map tool, and tell us what you think. What you share shapes what every teacher gets next.
To participate, follow these four steps:
-
1. What is sharpening how you think about your practice?
2. What is happening in your classroom that makes it matter right now?
-
Small enough for every lesson. Specific enough to know you did it.
See examples from the conference sessions.
-
Complete the Learn and Plan sections: name your move, write your if–then plan, and start!

FAQs
-
Mastery™ is a habit-building tool for teachers. It helps a teacher take one idea from a conference session, professional learning, book, or podcast and turn it into a teaching move they practice until it becomes routine.
-
The Momentum Map™ is Mastery’s core tool: a five-stage cycle that teachers repeat over a practice window of about 1-3 weeks.
Every stage and prompt in the Momentum Map™ is mapped to research in the Momentum Map™ Research Design Companion. The tool draws on improvement science, the principles of deliberate practice and teacher expertise, and behavioral science on planning and habit formation.
It is currently available as a free app that can be accessed on a computer or mobile device.
